(How to Shape a Fantastic Day Even in the Midst of Trouble)
Having a fantastic day, month or year doesn’t just happen. It begins with the words you speak and the thoughts you think.
Words can inspire us to accomplish an impossible goal like changing our lives or our country, or cause us to give up in despair.
Proverbs 6:2 says, “Do not be ensnared by the words of your mouth.”
Remember to always speak positive faith-filled words irrespective of what you see around you.
Here are excerpts from my FB page regarding the recent killing of innocent school children:
“I will never give up on my country. I will never support evil leaders. I will never be part of the silent passive evil majority who hear no evil, see no evil and confront no evil. I will pray for my country. I will make decrees. I will declare good tidings over my children’s home and mine. I will never curse or abuse this land for there’s a reason I was born here. I AM part of the solution. I will defend and build my own patch of the broken wall. So help me God.
Hopeless is not a feeling I identify with. Anger yes, sadness yes, disgust yes but hopeless to the point of giving up??!!! No!
May God heal our land. May we heal our land by being true, just and each other’s keepers. May the souls of those young children rest in peace. May God judge their murderers and the leaders who permitted it.
I am frustrated but not in despair and I will choose my words deliberately. Always.”
Lesson: Your words could easily create a sense of helpless despair and impotence or ignite a sense of empowerment and hope. You are not helpless. You are powerful beyond your imagination.
Have a Fantastic end to February.
