#TycoonTuesday: About 5 years ago, I met the man who would later become the United States President- President Trump. I’ll be sharing for the first time the behind the scenes story of my meeting him, and some business lessons learnt.
All this at the upcoming @inspiredwomenofworth #globalpossibilitiessummit on March 31st/2017 to April 1st. (Register on www.i-wow.org/summit) You’ll need to register for the Executive session though to get the full scoop. In the meantime, here are a few tycoon Tuesday pointers to standing out in a crowded market:
1. Who knows you or your brand or has heard of your message? Are the people who know you important people whose association will uplift your brand? What are your plans to get heard, or seen? Remember that marketing 101 myth – if you are good, they’ll find you . Yeah right! You’ll wait a really long time and end up broke. In today’s market, if you don’t create a plan to market your products, service or message, you’ll always struggle. If you don’t find a particular set of people to connect to your message and product, you have no business.
Be deliberate and intentional about your message, and marketing. Choose the right platforms. Don’t be seen everywhere. Choose your association and language carefully. Everything counts. Refuse to be mediocre when it comes to this very important aspect of your business. Too many small businesses fail to become great because they lack the guts and know how required to go Mega with telling the world about their businesses. Employ the power of story telling. Social media, digital marketing, blogs. Leave no stone unturned. Even the President of the US understands the power of social media, marketing, and being in control of your messaging. (***Pls No hate comments. You must learn to identify lessons from everyone.) Looking forward to sharing my business lessons for the first time in 10 years. www.i-wow.org/Summit
